Radha Bakshi and her husband have a successful dental practice, but during a procedure, a patient dies on her watch, leaving her devastated. She starts taking pills (only one every other day) for her anxiety but as her condition worsens she takes more and soon enough it's out of control. She starts writing prescriptions under false names until she receives a letter from the dental health authority questioning the unusual frequency of the prescriptions.
She turns to the internet and realises how easy it is to buy drugs, actually anything online, but is it from reputable companies?.
This is a really top-notch psychological thriller, a true masterpiece!!. One of my tops reads this year.
There's twist after twist throughout the book which left me in awe!!. A truly amazing book.
I have to mention the cover, it's so beautiful and the colours are spot on.
