We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne

PC Plus Peripherals employs Ellie Taylor, who is 21 years old. Her boss, Jake Harington, is friendly, approachable, and incredibly handsome. Ellie was completely surprised when she was called into his office and asked to babysit his two children - Ollie, who is six, and Fern, who is only three months old. Ellie can feel the tension between Jake and his glamorous interior designer wife, Megan, as soon as she steps into their home. She becomes a bystander in their verbal battle, frequently falling victim to Megan's cruel remarks.

If she had any common sense, she would go away, but she has developed emotions for Jake, seeing him as a courageous and devoted father, navigating a challenging relationship and striving to protect his children. The story, as seen through her eyes, leads Ellie to a horrifying predicament. A secret from her past has resurfaced to trouble her.

Browne's writing style captivates the reader, immersing them in a tense and atmospheric setting. The pacing is masterfully balanced, presenting twists and turns that will leave you breathless.
