'The Unseen' is an interesting book, we meet Scott who is as dead as a door nail, apparently, he was murdered. That's a great start of the book but for Scott not so much as he has to investigate the who and why was he murdered before continuing on his journey.
We see moments of Scott's life, the highs and lows the good and bad times. Like other reviews mentions, it has the Charles Dickens story 'Scrooge' vibes.
As we follow Scott's on his mission to solve his murder, the plot remains engaging and maintains a steady pace. The writer’s ability to show us scenes from a different perspective was something I appreciated.
Many thanks to @ChrisCloake & @ZooloosBT for a review copy.
